Hi All, any help would be greatly appreciated.
I've been working on my gas dryer for about a month now and have had no luck. I have replaced almost every internal component and still nothing. I even had a repair man come out and he couldn't was confused.
What was previously happening was the dryer would work after I turned in on and off about 10 or 15 times. Eventually the igniter would light and the dryer would cycle through the whole load. It would then work for subsequent loads until it cooled down.
To fix the problem I started with the igniter and after that didn't work I replaced the control board. It then started to work after shutting it off and back on 3 or 4 times. Then after about a week it quit working altogether. Since then I have replaced almost every part including the burner and still nothing.
I'm not sure if this is a signal of a problem, but when I test the switch on the control board that goes to the igniter, it shows around 16 volts when the dryer is off, 6 volts when I start the drying and 0 volts when it clicks to start the igniter...
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
