Yesterday my dryer stopped and I noticed a whitei(sh) knit type stip of cloth with a felt pad on one end hanging down into the door opening. I have since determined that I need to order a clip, felt pad kit. However, I dont know how to get the front panel off. I would love to see a diagram of exactly how to remove the panel so I can access the area of the felt pad (gasket?). Does anyone know where I can find such a diagram?

Your model number does not come up on this site, but go to Sears Parts Direct and put it in and you will get exploded views of your machine.

To take off the top open the lint filter lid and take out the two screws. You can then insert a screwdrive in the gap on the front between the top and the front and flip up the front. Disconnect the door switch wires, marking where they go and then take out the two screws that hold the front and it will come off.
