Model Number: LGR6620PQ1 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
I have a Whirlpool dryer LGR6620PQ1 and I’m having issues with different cycles that I select. On automatic cycle the dial will not move and will continue drying until you open the door. On timed drying, the timer will move and will not heat. I have checked the Thermal Fuse, Operating thermostat, cycling thermostat and high-limit thermostat all which indicate about 7 ohms. Is there something else I should check? Could the problem be with one of the parts that I already checked?

I would like you to redo all of these tests because 7 Ohms reading is incorrect. The normal reading for any of the above parts should be close to 0 Ohms. Also open the control panel and check for continuity between the timer terminals TM & WB while the timer is set for timed dry and between the timer terminals TM & OR wile the timer is set for auto dry. Make sure you will remove the wires from the testing parts prior to the test. Post the results. Here are the breakdown diagrams and Parts for Whirlpool LGR6620PQ1 Dryer - AppliancePartsPros.com Gene.
