I've already fully disassembled, cleaned, and ohm-checked
every element and anything remotely resembling a thermostat: both elements each
have ~22ohms (if I remember correctly) total resistance, and each thermostat /
thermal-cutout / fuse / whatever has 0 ohms (closed circuit, waiting for
electricity and heat). Yes, I've already verified a completely unrestricted
flow of air from the blower thru the lint trap to the exhaust chute and out to
the side of the house with absolutely NO lint anywhere, and the air flow
sufficiently lifts all 3 doors on the vent louver.

Yet, while I hold the door button in and push Start (towitness the action) I sometimes (actually, rarely, for just a while) see anelement glowing orange behind the Heat Deflector (looks like a large roundcheese grater), and it seems to continue to glow as long as I press the door button. But, when I letgo and wait until the drum completely stops, hold it in and pressStart again, there's no more orange glow (NOTHING was changed / no otherbuttons / dials touched). And, no matter what I do at this point (change anytimer / heat settings, unplug dryer, hold Start button down for 15 secondswhile praying to any appliance gods listening - this is necessary on some HPlaptops . . .) there is absolutely no more heat felt near the grater.

Everything I've read suggests a bad thermostat and/orthermal-cutout. What's your suggestion?
