Model Number: 3390415 Brand: Kenmore Age: 5 - 10 years
im not sure how to connect the wires i am thinking to connect the three as normal and then just add the green to the green already there but im not sure.

Your model number is incomplete.
Kenmore numbers are usually 3 numbers, a period and then another 6 to 8 numbers. If you can get the correct model number, you should be able to get the install instructions off a site called managemylife. Usually what you do is connect the red, white and black from the line cord to the terminal strip. The current green/yellow wire must be disconnected and taped up so that it cannot touch the frame or another connection. The green from the line cord then attaches to where the green/yellow was attached.
