My Maytag dryer will not power up all the time. Started this issue just today.

After unplugging and trying another outlet, I eventually got it to light up (plugged back into the original outlet.)

Now it seems to work intermittently. No pattern to this problem. When the "Control On" button is pressed, dead sometimes... other times it will light the panel.

Is this a sign that the board is dying, or could it be there is dirty contacts in the Control On switch? Seems if you press a little harder or wiggle the button while pressing it, it helps.

Any ideas? Anyone else had this issue?
