I currently have a Whirlpool/Kenmore dryer with timer part #W10185975. The issue is that if you shift the timer shaft one way the ignition system activates, but let it go and it cuts off immediately. We already had the same issue with another similar timer and we had no other choice but to replace the entire console panel from another one, while this one we had to return it from a customer. So my question is has anyone encountered such an issue, and also has Whirlpool found out about it or has found a fix or maybe has recalled these timers.
