Whirlpool dryer stops half way through a load
Model Number: WED5600SQ0 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
my dryer will start and will dry the load half way but stops and if you let it sit a little bit you will be able to stat it again and you can mess with the buttons all you want but wont start unless it sits for 5 minuts or so the start relay makes the clicking sound every time you change the settings or open the door

Hi.
Based on the information you have provided the motor is overheating and the overload opens. First check if the motor simply needs to be clean of lint, if not - replace the motor Part number: 279827 Use the video clip for the instructions. Post the results. Simon.
