Model Number: LDE8624ACM Brand: Maytag Age: 5 - 10 years
we had dryer problems and i repaired them but as i was hurrying to get done i forgot the way the door switch wires went and the moisture indicator wires also and i hooked them up wrong and when i powered up it blew the switch and the indicator switch so i replaced them and tried again the wires are all ok but she heats up too high so i thought i blew the high limit switch too so i replaced it and tried again and it still heats up way to high and before i could get it shut down i heard a popping type of sound and it quit and wont start again what have i done??? does anyone have a suggestion??please help me do i need to replace all the sensors and temp switches?? i just hope i haven't hurt the element too. somebody please help me with a suggestion>
