Dryer Timer Goes too fast...
Brand: Kenmore Age: 5 - 10 years
I have a Kenmore Series 70 Electric Dryer and the timer appears to be malfunctioning. Say for example, that I set the timer for 80 minutes. I go back in in about 20 minutes to check on it, and it is nearly ready to shut off. The clothes are no where near dry. Heat does work, and the blower is functioning as well. It generally takes about 3 times at this setting to get my clothes dry.
Can someone please confirm that the timer needs to be replaced, or could this super fast timer count down be caused by some other problem? Thanks for your time and help in this matter. Ads By Google
