Dryer wont heat up

Dryer wont heat up

Brand: Maytag Age: 5 - 10 years

Appliance Parts from AppliancePartPros.com

I turn on my dryer;it runs. I removed the front panel and notice the ignitor turns bright orange but the gas wont ignite. I smell gas but no flame. I replaced the solenoids and still the same problem. Can the ignitor still be bad even though it heats up?
