Thermal Cut-Off Blew after being replaced
Thermal Cutoff replaced (along w Hi-Limit Thermostat) and Thermal Cut-off blew again

Have checked meter readings

(a) Check the heating coil :) -it is between 10 to 12 ohms.

(b) Checked from each side of the coil to the case/frame :)--both show infinite ohms (open).

The hi-limit thermostat reads 0.6 to 1.0 ohms

Note: my digital meter shows a static 1 (w/o decimals) for infinity

Whirlpool Electric Model LER4634EQ0 (may be older than 10 yrs- not sure)

Appreciate any thoughts!
