Thermal cutoff blew again (Whrpl Elect Dryer)
Model Number: LER4634EQ0 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
Thermal Cut-Off Blew after being replaced
Have checked meter readings (a) Check the heating coil  -it is between 10 to 12 ohms.(b) Checked from each side of the coil to the case/frame --both show infinite ohms (open). The hi-limit thermostat reads 0.6 to 1.0 ohms Note: my digital meter shows a static 1 (w/o decimals) for infinity Whirlpool Electric Model LER4634EQ0 (may be older than 10 yrs- not sure) Appreciate any thoughts!
