Model Number: LG DLE5977W Brand: -other- Age: 5 - 10 years
hi, 2 months ago replaced the thermistor in the unit after getting long cycles without complete sensor drying. dryer worked like new.
now, the problem has returned. i replaced the thermistor again, but no joy. current and prior thermistor measure 10ohm, and the thermistor harness test yields 14kohm at 65-68 F, pins 5-6 i think, which seems in spec according to the service manual. the troubleshooting guide says, test thermistor, test at connector, check wiring for fault, and if all neg then replace controller. i'm assuming this is the main PCB, part # 6871EC1121A. am i correct? should i check anything else prior to ordering? thanks in advance, george Ads By Google Related Models |
