Gas dryer won't start
Model Number: LHI 5801 Brand: Whirlpool Age: More than 10 years
My dryer suddenly stopped working, nothing happens when you press the start button. I noticed that the door catch was broken, so I ordered a replacement part and installed it, but it still won't start. The kit I ordered had 3 different catches, and I used the yellow one. This is what I have done to troubleshoot:
- vacuumed all dust and lint from back panel and underneath - checked breaker box and switched electric outlets - re-seated all wire connectors Any help would be appreciated, I'd like to fix it rather than replace it, they don't make them like they used to.
