Duet dryness control

Model Number: GGW9200LW0 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years

Dryer stops before clothes are dry. Replaced the main control board after power surge took out the transformer on it. Air flow great, heat great. What is the control circuit composed of and where is it. Can it be tested? Thanks, John
