Random stopping, end of cycle
Model Number: LEQ9858PWQ Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
This just started last week regardless of cycle or heat once you start the dryer it will run fine for 5, 10 sometimes 20 min before the dryer will stop and the EOC buzzer will go off. I can move the knob for the cycle and the dryer will start again, run awhile then cycle off and buzz. thought I would get opinions before going in to repair mode.

When the machine stops can you immediately start it again or do you have to wait a while before it will start again? If it will immediately start again, the timer sounds faulty. If you need to wait a while before it will start again you have a faulty motor.
