Dryer Repair

It appears that the motor in my dryer has died. Even if I disconnect it and try to power it, it only hums. I tried to remove the motor but I do not see how to get the blower fan disconnected. I cannot find a manual so Im not even certain the correct procedure to remove the drum. I can get it opened up. but Im not sure what to remove to pull the drum so I can more easily get to the motor.

any help will be greatly appreciated.

Am not sure if it covers your model but odds are high that the things you want to do will be the same procedures as in the manual.

Replacing Kenmore dryer motor

Check out this thread. They were discussing this very issue. I don't know if their model is the same as yours, but it may be helpful! Good luck!
