maytag dryer runs but wont shut off
Model Number: LDE8624ACM Brand: Maytag Age: 5 - 10 years
i replaced the drum belt and 2 drum rollers and the tension wheel today the old one was so worn the dryer was full of dust and metal shavings from the bearing on the drum roller that i had to throughly clean the inside of the dryer housing and it took so long to do that i forgot how the wiring went on the front panel ie:door switch and the moisture senser and when i hooked it up it tripped the breaker immediatly so i rearranged the wires and now it runs quiet but it wont shut off when the dial comes to the shut off point on the dial what have i done to this poor dryer?????and how do i fix it and where can i get a wiring diagram to download or a repair manual???
