The Dryer is showing a DO code which means "Door Open".

The switch seems to be good. I checked the door switch to make certain that the circuit was closing when the plunger of the switch is pushed in. Also, I checked the door switch with an Ohm meter and when the plunger of the door switch is pushed in, the meter reads 00.4

Since the switch did not seem to be defective, it was suggested that it might be the control board. ( ASSY PCB SUB: PRIME DRYER Part number DC92-00162B) After installing this replacement part, the dryer continued to display the DO code and will not run.

Occasionally, the drum will turn for a split second and then display the DO code. It seems like there may be a loose connection or a broken wire, but I have not been able to see any damage on inspection.

Is it likely that a component on the PCB Main Assembly FRONTIE could be defective and causing the DO code? Otherwise, perhaps it is the wiring harness?

Any other recommendations?

Check for 120 VAC between the blue & the black wires at the main control board while the door is closed. If the readings are correct then most likely the main control board is defective.
