dryer flame won't stay on
Brand: Amana Age: Less than 1 year
so my dryer stopped working, got a new one to replace it but I was too lazy to take it out of my basement and luckily i didn't cuz the new one borke a belt.i took old one apart and used belt from it. byt since i had it opened i decided to to fix it just in case i need it one day. After a long research i established the coils needed replacing. Did the test with old coils - ignitor gets red but no flame. Put the new coils in -ignitor gets red and flame comes on BUT... it only stays on for 2-3 seconds. this test was done without a drum and front panel missing with no exhaust pipe attached. Any ideas ???
