my dryer has power and a good fuse but will not start

Could be a number of things bad start switch, bad door switch, blown motor, bad timer contacts or a bad wire/connection.
All of theses can be checked using a meter and resistance.

How do you know it has power?
Did you measure it at the terminal strip with a meter. Neutral to L1 (120 volts) is what runs the motor.

If you put the timer at mid-cycle timed dry, door closed the timer should advance even with the motor off.

it was a bad motor, dryer too old not worth replacing.
