Maytag Neptune Elec Dryer Works Intermittent
Model Number: mle2000ayw Brand: Maytag Age: More than 10 years
Dryer works randomly. It gets 120 volts to hi-limit thermostat and has only 7 volts on wire which connects to the heater. I tested all components resistance and all passed except cycling thermostat which read 28,000 ohms. I replaced it. I get 120 volts from motor and everywhere I believe it should be up to the hi-limit thermostat. Since it tests 0 ohms, is there a problem with it or something else?
