Rattling noise (recording of sound)
Model Number: LDE7304ACE Brand: Maytag Age: 5 - 10 years
We have a Maytag dryer that has been making loud rattling noises when starting/running. The belt broke awhile back too and I already replaced that. I thought it might be the drum rollers so I just replaced those yesterday. But apparently that wasn't the problem.
I'm thinking my next two options would be the glides or blower wheel. But instead of just buying every part under the sun until it goes away, I figured I'd ask here first. Thanks Simon, I'll try that.
Is there something I should visually see on the wheel? I've looked at it specifically and spun it manually trying to see if I could see any broken or wobbling pieces, but didn't notice anything strange.

Hi.
See if the blower is tight on the shaft or you can turn it when the shaft is not moving. Simon.
