dryer heat does not turn off
Model Number: DBXR463ED2WW Brand: GE Age: 1 - 5 years
Dryer had been in storage for about a year, when installed, first cycle appeared to be fine, but later discovered the heating element did not turn off.

Check the heating coils for continuity to the ground. If there is continuity,replace the heating element.
