Dryer won't start
Model Number: GGQ9800PW1f Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
Dryer will not start. I have verified that I have power, the door switch is working properly, and the start switch is working properly. When I turn on the timer, close the door, and hit the start button I can hear the timer moving and a very quiet buzz like electricity is flowing, but nothing turns on. I checked the thermal fuse, operating thermostat, and hi limit thermostat for continuity and they are all good. I called the 800 number and she went through all of the troubleshooting steps with me, but still no luck. Not sure what else to check.

Remove the toe panel and check the belt. If the belt is not broken and/or dislodged then check the broken belt switch (under the tension pulley).
