Model Number: DV306LGW/XAA Brand: Samsung Age: 5 - 10 years
My dryer won't stay running it stops after 30 seconds and blinks a code an upside down F next to a 5 nobody seems to know or want to connect you to a service company I just want to know what it means

This error code means that the control senses the thermistor (#21 at the diagram) is short. Check the thermistor for continuity. The normal reading should be about 10K Ohms @ 77°F. Check for a clogged lint screen and restricted vent system.
