igniter comes on flame comes on for about 15 seconds then igniter clicks off along with flame and then no heat rest of cycle

Would the igniter glow again or not?

Make sure the dryer exhaust is clean and the vent hose behind the dryer is not kinked or twisted.

dryer exhaust vent is fine
diconnected hose and samething happens. igniter glow red gas turns on then flame for aboit 15 seconds than everything clicks off

Have Maytag Dryer Model #MDG4806AWW with no heat. Dryer igniter glows flame comes on for about 15 seconds and shuts off. Dryer vent is free of lint,tested everything for continuity is ok, I think its the gas valve. This model you can't just replace the coils. How do I replace the whole assembly. Thanks Rick

Replace coils and iginiter glows red,flame comes on for 15 seconds and clicks off. duct isn't clogged, tested everything else for continuity and check out ok. What else can it be? Maytag Dryer model # MDG4806AWW

Check out the blower wheel. Make sure it's not slipping at the motor shaft.

If there is nothing wrong, replace the hi-limit thermostat (#10 at the diagram).
