dryer drum is scraping
Model Number: lea30aw Brand: Amana Age: 5 - 10 years
Hi,
My Amana dryer drum is rubbing against the blower wheel housing below it and making a loud metal scraping sound. The belt seems okay. Could someone please respond with the solution. Thanks, Kevin  Ads By Google Related Models

Hi.
Check out couple of things: Front glides and pads and front felt seal. Glides Part number: 37001298 Felt pads Part number: 500092 Replace them in pairs. Front felt seal Part number: 37001132 Make sure that the glide brackets are not bend or damaged.
