my initial problem was diagnoses as a blown thermal fuse. i replaced the fuse, cleaned the inlet duct and outlet duct, all is clear, however the thermal fuse blew again after approx 6 dryer loads, any suggestions.

A model number may help others help you.

Also did it blow the thermal fuse on the blower or the thermal cut-off on the heater.

Did you check/clean the blower wheel?
Did you check that the vent louvers outside the house opened OK when the dryer was running.
