Exclamation dryer problems
Model Number: lel7646eq1   Brand: Whirlpool   Age: 5 - 10 years   

my dryer stop heating and i check it it was the heating fuse was open , so i replace it but when i open the heating element was grounded i replace it to and the hi limit came with it as well i replace it , it worked for like a i month and today stop heating opened and the heating fuse was blown again , what you think could be the problem with it? before i go foward please help.

Most likely the dryer was overheated due to clogged exhaust and insufficient air flow.

but that's weird cause i checked the duct and everything was clear no lint blockeage

Did you check the blower and the air ducts inside the dryer?

If your talking about the fuse in the electrical box,and if you are using two 30 amp fuses in this box,then the trouble is in the electrical box itself. More then likely there is heat building up in the fuse holders causing the fuse to blow.So if you change this box it will solve your problem

no the fuse i mentioned was not the panel ,it was the dryer heater fuse
