Lint Bypassing screen
Model Number: LER7620LW1 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
The lint trap is not catching the lint and is passing all the lint into the chute in the wall, then up to the roof. We had it cleaned a year ago...but about 6 months ago it stopped catching and we've had to clean the connector hose frequently.

Below is the lint filter, click on the picture for more views and see that yours looks OK.
Part number: AP2910873 Check it for holes and cracks in it's frame.
