Model Number: WTMC3500 Brand: Bosch Age: 5 - 10 years
I have a Bosche WTMC3500UC gas dryer and in the last 6 months it has to run for almost two regular cycles to dry a load. After the first cycle the clothes are damp and the dryer is not warm.
I did not know it had a moisture sensor for the first 6 years and never cleaned it. When I first started having this problem I read the manual which said to clean it with vinegar. I did this and the problem was gone for a couple months but it's back now and I've cleaned the sensor multiple times with no effect. The dryer spins fine and I can hear the burner turn on when first started but the burner cycles off after a short period of time. I was assuming the moisture sensor was damaged and should be replaced but wanted to get some input before I started blindly throwing parts at it. Thank Shawn Ads By Google Related Models |
