Any advice as to why my dryer will not start when pushing start? I have to turn the timing dial and hit the start button at the same time in order for it to start drying clothes and even then sometimes the dryer just stops spinning and I have to start the whole process over. Heating still works fine if the dryer stays on the whole cycle.

Here are your parts

See the attachment for the wiring diagram.

Very weird problem.
It could be the timer contacts are not closing all the time.
When it will not start unplug the unit and check Timer Switch 2 contacts on the timer, should be 0 ohms.
