My dryer heats fine and will dry clothes on cool down settings. I have been having this issue for about a week. When i turn the knob to a cool down settting it pretty much starts right up. when I put it on a normal setting it does nothing then if i turn it around and around and back and forth sometimes I can get it to work on the reg setting. I usually get to frustrated cause it wont work so i put it back on the cool down and then just restart it a couple of times. I have noticed a couple times that if it completly finishes and buzzes like it is done then i can sometimes not very often turn it and trick it to a timmed setting like at around 40 min. However if i open the door or stop it then it will rarley turn back on unless i move it to cool down again. wondering if this is a issue with the knob "timmer"? again it does heat up and clothes do get dry but it is taking forever on cooldown.Any suggestions would be helpful.

Hi.

Based on the info you provided the problem is with the timer.
Please provide the complete model number of the dryer.

Simon.
