Help Please...

I am helping a friend change out a 3 terminal cable on her dryer to a 4 terminal cable. The ground runs out of the center post and connects into a solderless terminal and back out the same side into the green screw but there is also a white cable that runs out the opposite side of the solderless terminal that runs up to the front on the unit(I think to the door latch switch). I am unsure what to do with the ground coming from the front of the unit. Any help would be appreciated.
