This Maytag gas dryer has stopped heating. When I first inspected it I noticed that the Moisture Indicator was not working. I first made sure the vent pipe was clear, then after reassembling the vent tried the dryer and it began to heat. So I concluded that the dryer would work on the timed setting. Wrong. There is not inspection panel to view the gas ignition. Do I just need to replace the moisture sensor? Or is it time to shop for a new dryer?
