Cant figure it out need help kenmore gas dryer!
Model Number: 417 Brand: Kenmore Age: 5 - 10 years
gas dryer making loud roar when it heats up. I replaced rear bearing assembly, motor, front guides, new felt kit and tension pully assembly. Noticed hair line cracks in blower wheel streming from center. When dry is in air mode only its quiet but as soon as you put it on heat the noise gets louder. Could these cracks be causing the wheel to run untrue as the wheel heats up therefore causing the roar? the noise does appear to be coming more from the front. And if so do I have to buy the whole assembly to get just the wheel? thanks for the help!!!
