The dryer wont shut off when using the auto sensing mode. It has run for over 2 hours before. Everything else is OK. Tumble, heat, motor, exhaust and the circuit board has been replaced. The display counts down the estimated time then goes into a "sensing" loop where it stays - forever! The GE service man is at a loss after more than 6 visits. Any suggestions?

Wow

I got plenty of ego, but if a GE trained service tech has been there 6 times and has not found the problem I don't think it is likely those of us who are not even present have much of a chance.

That being said, I would say go with a new wiring harness.
