No Heat, No Timer, New Cycling Thermostat, New Fuse, Good Continuity

My dryer won't heat up and the timer won't work. I replaced the timer and that did nothing. I then proceeded to replace the Cycling Thermostat and Fuse after a continuity check showed that the fuse had blown. The dryer heated up for about 5 minutes and the timer worked as well. Everything went fine until after that 5 minutes everything went back to no heat and no timer. I'm guessing the fuse blew again. When I was doing continuity checks initially the coils checked out fine. The 1220 ohm fuse came out to about 1320. It's about +100 what it should have been. I didn't see this as being a problem since you could hear the solonoid turning on and off. The igniter is glowing and the continuity checked out about +100 on the flame sensor as well. Please let me know if I should proceed with replacing the coils regardless of the continuity test. I'm tired of buying parts and not getting the problem fixed.
Thanks in advance!
