Model Number: Not Sure Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
Hello all. This past weekend, the wife saw some flames come out of the back of the dryer. After removing the back i noticed the terminal block was pretty well charred. Is it possible to just replace the wiring, terminal block, and dryer cord using a kit such as this? Or would I be wasting time and $40-60 on parts for a dryer that may have bigger issues? Sorry, I'm at work right now and do not know my model number but it is very basic model, probably between 6-10 years old. Thanks.
