Model Number: tgds740pq0 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
I was testing dryer for no heat and found a bad thermal fuse. Sister in law plugged in dryer with part out and thermal fuse wires were touching the exhaust. I believe the gas turned on without the drum for a short time until I unplugged it. I bought a new thermal fuse and the dryer will not heat still. Prior to the wires touching the dryer exhaust, the dryer would heat if I bypassed the thermal fuse. Any ideas what may have got damaged?
