Open the door and take out the screws holding the door hinge and the ones opposite.
You can then take off the front panel which is held on by clips. If you need to take off the top, there are screws which hold it on which you can now access. Here is the service manual with instructions, good luck. http://www.servicematters.com/maytag...s/16023110.pdf
