dryer stops running after 5 minutes and circuit breaker is tripped. When problem first started dryer would run for 15-20 minutes before tripping circuit breaker. Is it the dryer, receptacle, cord or circuit breaker?

Does the dryer seem to work ok while running?

Yes, although I just tried it on a different heat setting with only 1 towel in it and the time seemed even shorter-only ran for 2 1/2 minutes. If I am reading articles correctly, the dryer should be running on 2 different circuits. In my case, only 1 circuit is tripping.

A current test is going to need to be done with an amp meter
to find out how much amperage this unit is drawing from the outlet. Typically an electric dryer pulls about 24-26 amps from (what should be) its 30 amp
breaker. If the amperage checks OK then to you have a problem
with your service, maybe a bad circuit breaker.
