Hi, Can you let me know if the broken trim piece shown in the picture can be replaced? The brand is actually GE. not Gibson. For some reason, the pick list for model was working for Safari browser. Thanks. jlim attached the following image(s):

|

Yes, that's the correct part. Thanks. I manage to fix it in less than 1/2hr.
Here are the general steps in case others are wondering:
1. Remove the top and bottom screws (4 total) holding the dryer door 2. Remove 2 screws holding the top panel of the dryer 3. Once the top is moved out of the way, remove the 2 screws holding the front panel of the dryer 4. Unplug a quick connect and 2 "tab" type connectors to completely remove the front panel out of the way 5. Pop out the lower portion of the dryer trim piece (shown above) 6. Pop the new one in and reverse the order for re-installation
Make sure before removing panels, plug the plug from the wall in the case of electrical dryer, or shut off the gas at the wall in case of gas :)
