I recently, on accident, pulled the top off of the dryer, unplugging a few wires from the timer. THe dryer was working perfect until this happened, now it wont stop. There is a burn mark on the timer from one of the wires, but it still sounds like it is running. Is it possible I plugged the wires back wrong, or did it short the timer out?

Here is a link that may be helpful. Perhaps Item 23 sample wiring diagrams may be useful.

Is it possible I plugged the wires back wrong,
Yes this is possible

did it short the timer out?
Also possible but less likely.
If the timer advances in timed dry at least you then know that the timer motor is OK.
You may have welded a set of timer contacts together.

I cannot find the wiring diagram on the net for this unit.
When you opened it up did you find it in the control console?
May also be glued to the back of the unit.
You need this to check out the wiring.
