Model Number: DLG7188WM Brand: -other- Age: 1 - 5 years
I Have An Lg Dryer, Dlg7188wm. Dryer Will Start To Heat, Burner Will Turn Off. "cooling" Light Displays On Control. When Ohm'ing 6pin Connector, I Get Required 300ohm From Pin 4-5, But 601 Ohms Between 3-4. Semi-conductor Checks Out Fine - 300ohms Between White And Red Wires, And Same Between Black And White. Please Help!!! Could This Even Be The Problem? Checked Everything Else!

Follow-up to above post. The manual incorrectly states to check ohms between 3-4 pins and 4-5pins. This wrong! if you look at wiring diagram, you will see that the 5 pin is the common pin (white wire), not 4 pin. Check between 3-5 pins and 4-5 pins. When I checked, I got 301 ohms on both. Got help from tech and problem was gas valve and igniter.
