Whirlpool dryer with no heat
Model Number: GGW9250PWI Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
OK, This machine has always taken a very long time to dry the clothes
Recently it stopped heating all together. I started to trouble shoot and so far I realized my meter is NG and as a result I have changed 1- Thermal fuse 2- Thermistor 3- High limit thermostat 4- Flame sensor 5- And both gas valve coils I'm a parts suppliers dream Now the Trouble shooting guide is telling me to replace the Machine Control Electronics (NOT CHEAP) I ran a Diagnostic test and everything seamed fine except for all LED's where red but the Cycle completed one was green. the moisture sensors and door switch are fine as well What would a professional do at this point Thanks in advance. Does the igniter glow?
If it does not, check the igniter for continuity. It's worth to by a simple multimeter instead of replacing parts just by guessing.
