Dryer would not get hot. Tested all thermostats and the high limit switch. All tested good except the cycling thermostat tested open across the two smaller (of 4) terminals. Replaced the part and the dryer worked just fine. Now a week later, the dryer doesn't get hot, the same terminals on the new thermostat tests 'open', all other thermostats and the high limit check good. Igniter heats up, the gas valves opens to ignite the flame, but dryer doesn't get hot.
Did I get a bad (weak) part from the supplier or is there something else that would cause the cycling thermostat to fail?

Hi,
You may need to clean the lint out of the fan housing.
