I just ordered a couple thermostats from you guys. (AP4036890 and AP4037126).
The original symtom is the dryer was not drying the clothes. After investigating I discovered on the heating assembly the wire is fried between the post on the thermostat and the post on the heating element. Because of this the wire was disconnected - burned right off. The thermostats is what you guys suggested I replace so I ordered them and they just arrived.
I am in the process of replacing the thermostats. There is no real indication on how to match up wires to terminal posts on thermostat. Does it matter? If so can you give me a clue?
Thanks, Jim

Hi.
If there are only two terminals on the thermostats, there is no difference where the wires are connected.
Thank you.
Simon.
