Affinity Dryer Frigidaire Won't enter diagnostic mode

Brand: Frigidaire Age: 1 - 5 years

I have a Affinity Dryer by Frigidaire that won't enter diagnostic mode. I followed the directions and I get the 'res' code but I don't get to the next part after rotating the knob twice.
